Easter on the Water
Easter Sunday today and I was sailing. Low turnout, since people are away for the Easter long weekend. Pete, Brent and James are in Scotland, preparing a keelboat for the Scottish Series so that’s even less Lasers than usual.
For the first race it was only 4 of us. Light winds made things quite boring but easy in the same time.
Not much excitement there apart from the fact that was quite close to Steve. He seemed confident that I won’t be able to finish ahead of him “for another good 6 months”. Not much else happened, I finished 3rd.
On the second race, Jay joined in, so we were 5. Quite good start again and although Jay made it a bit more difficult for me, I still managed to pull a 3rd. Nothing exciting though, because the wind was the same.
Went in, covered my boat and left kind of early. I was invited at a friend’s place for the traditional Greek Easter Feast.
