Astana-gate Part 3

The details are still a bit sketchy but the information is that the UCI after looking into some evidence submitted by the Italian authorities, decided to revoke Astana Pro Team’s licence.
From what I understand, Astana have been co-operating by giving all information required about procedures etc. The Italian investigation, though, seems to show that, in reality, the procedures are not being followed or that they might not even exist at all.
Therefore the UCI has asked from the Licencing Commission to revoke Astana’s licence.
It is a shame that the current Tour de France champion finds himself in this situation, but on the other hand if we have to clean the sport, we clean the sport.
