New record on Sevenstar Round Great Britain and Ireland race
I have been watching with anticipation to see if Musandam-Oman Sail would manage to do the Round the Great Britain and Ireland in a new record time. The time expires at 12:59:14 BST.
Since this morning I have been checking Marine Traffic website to see the progress of Musandam-Oman Sail. I was hoping that it wouldn’t come down to seconds or a couple of minutes because I don’t know the latency of the race tracker or the Marine Traffic website.
I know though that they finished with about 15 minutes to spare.
UPDATE: They finished at 12:42:36 BST. That makes it 16m 38s faster than the previous record held by Banque Populaire 5.
