Light winds today and I wasn’t expecting much. I was just hoping though. I have managed to make my starts much better. At least, now if my plan doesn’t work, I usually have a backup plan. Most probably what happens is that when my plan fails I quickly think of what to do and I go for it. Before, if my starting plan wasn’t working I couldn’t think of a recovery move and I was ending up in a quite bad situation.<\/p>\n
So, my starting strategy didn’t seem to be working, so very quickly I changed it according to the conditions of the moment and I managed to recover. I had a little incident just after the start with someone who came on port and got on my way, but I managed quite quickly to get it out of my mind and carry on with the race. There were no major incidents after this. I didn’t have a great result, I finished 8th out of 12 but I enjoyed it.<\/p>\n
